Jieyu (Lorraine) Gui holds a master’s degree in International Marketing Management from Leeds University in the United Kingdom. She has more than 9 years’ marketing experience in both B2B and B2C industries for E-commerce and traditional marketing. Jieyu has worked in the United Kingdom, mainland China, and Hong Kong and has rich experience in communicating with people that have different cultural backgrounds.
At NCPRE, Jieyu translated the SOURCE questionnaires into Mandarin and Cantonese and recruited pilot testers from the University of Champaign at Urbana-Champaign’s Asian scholar community. She conducted the pilot testing of the translated instrument and analyzed responses to ensure interpretation of questions matched the intent. Based on the feedback, Jieyu revised questions and performed further pilot tests of the edited questions. Jieyu was also involved in the adaptation of NCPRE materials for Asian audiences.
