Elizabeth A. Luckman is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois. Most recently, she was the Senior Researcher in Leadership and Executive Development at the NCPRE. Through research, curriculum development, and teaching and coaching, Dr. Luckman seeks to help institutions and firms, and individuals, successfully navigate the challenging human dimensions of organizations. Her particular areas of expertise include leadership, organizational ethics, and negotiations. In addition to her academic work, she cultivated her leadership and social interaction perspectives during nearly a decade in industry. Her latest contribution is “The Self-Aware Leader”, an article she co-wrote that appears in Inside Higher Ed. She holds a PhD in organizational behavior from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, an MBA from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, and a BA in Classical Civilization and English Literature from Wellesley College.
